Meet Dr. Pamela Brownlee — Double Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon in Frisco, TX
Meet Dr. Pamela Brownlee, DO, FACS — affectionately known as Dr. Bombshell on social media. Dr. Brownlee is a physician and double board-certified plastic surgeon, certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and a fellowship-trained aesthetic surgeon practicing in Frisco, Texas. She performs both reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries — from breast and body contouring to facial procedures — and blends surgical precision with a careful aesthetic eye to deliver natural-looking, individualized results. Her approach to every patient is grounded in detailed planning, clear communication, and the kind of thorough consultation that makes patients feel genuinely informed before any decision is made.
Dr. Brownlee believes that beauty extends far beyond the surface — it’s about feeling confident, comfortable, and fully yourself. Through both surgical and non-surgical techniques, she focuses on amplifying your natural features rather than replacing them, building each treatment plan around your individual anatomy, goals, and timeline. Dr. Brownlee and our team offer a full range of procedures including tummy tuck, breast lift with augmentation, liposuction, Brazilian butt lift, breast augmentation, breast reduction, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, facelift, neck lift, and a complete suite of non-surgical treatments — coordinated under one roof to support both the surgical journey and long-term aesthetic care.

Dr. Brownlee's Education, Training, and Board Certifications
Originally from Michigan, Dr. Brownlee began her journey to become a plastic surgeon at Michigan State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science. She was a consistent member of the Dean’s Honor List throughout her undergraduate years, and was elected to the homecoming court — early reflections of the academic discipline and connection with peers that would later shape her approach to patient care.
Dr. Brownlee earned her medical degree (DO) from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Seton Hill, where she served as president of her medical school class and founded the institution’s surgery club. She also served as the National Convention Coordinator for the Student Osteopathic Surgical Association — leadership roles that reflected her early commitment to surgical training and to the broader osteopathic medical community.

After medical school, Dr. Brownlee completed a five-year general surgery residency at the University of Florida–Jacksonville, followed by specialized residency training at the University of Mississippi Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program. Her plastic surgery training spanned the full breadth of the specialty: cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, body contouring procedures, aesthetic facial surgery, craniofacial surgery for adults and children, traumatic and oncologic reconstructions, microsurgery, and hand surgery.
After residency, Dr. Brownlee completed an additional year of advanced training as an Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellow in Dallas, TX, focusing on the surgical and non-surgical techniques that define modern aesthetic practice. She is double board-certified — certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Surgery (ABS) — and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the largest specialty organization for board-certified plastic surgeons in the world.
Surgical Standards and Patient Experience
Surgical facility safety. Every surgical procedure performed by Dr. Brownlee takes place at a Medicare-certified, Texas-licensed ambulatory surgery center, held to the federal Conditions for Coverage under 42 CFR Part 416 — the same federal safety framework that governs hospital outpatient surgery departments. This is a higher-tier safety designation than the voluntary private accreditation many cosmetic providers in DFW operate under, and it is one of the most important factors patients should consider when evaluating where their plastic surgery will be performed.
Consultation philosophy. Dr. Brownlee’s initial consultations are a full 90 minutes — far longer than the 15-to-30-minute standard at most aesthetic practices. That time is spent reviewing your goals, taking a thorough medical history, walking you through your surgical and non-surgical options, answering every question, and providing a detailed financial review with transparent pricing. Patients who have interviewed surgeons across the country regularly cite this thoroughness as the reason they chose Dr. Brownlee over higher-volume practices that prioritize throughput over individualized planning.
Patient outcomes. Bombshelled Aesthetics maintains a 5.0-star average across Google patient reviews, built on a strong record of patient safety, clear communication throughout the surgical process, and personalized post-operative care coordinated directly by Dr. Brownlee and our team. Patients across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, the United States, and internationally have chosen Dr. Brownlee for breast surgery, body contouring, facial procedures, and the full continuum of non-surgical care.
In-person and virtual access. Consultations are available both in-person at our Frisco, TX office and virtually for patients anywhere in the world. Every virtual consultation is conducted personally by Dr. Brownlee in the same 90-minute format as in-office consultations, giving you time to discuss your goals, review medical history, and develop a treatment plan before any travel decisions are made.
Dr. Brownlee’s Personal Experience with Beauty
Dr. Brownlee understands firsthand the role that physical appearance can play in confidence and sense of self. As an infant, she was in an accident that altered her facial features, requiring multiple corrective procedures throughout her childhood. The experience of moving through those reconstructive procedures, and growing up with a personal understanding of how appearance and identity interact, gave her a deep appreciation for the individuality of beauty — and shaped the philosophy behind Bombshelled Aesthetics, which she founded to help patients redefine their own sense of beauty and confidence after life’s challenges.
At Bombshelled Aesthetics, we believe beauty comes from feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin — not from meeting an external standard. The patient experience here goes beyond the technical aspects of surgery: it includes the time we spend on consultations, the clarity of the surgical plan, and the post-operative coordination that supports your recovery. Whether you’re refining a single feature or restoring something that has changed over time, Dr. Brownlee and our team are here to help you reach your goals.
Life Outside the Office
Outside the operating room, Dr. Brownlee enjoys traveling with her husband, a commercial pilot. Together they enjoy trying new restaurants, volunteering at animal shelters, and exploring new places. An avid dancer since childhood, she still believes in the power of movement as a creative outlet. In her downtime, she creates content for social media and listens to true crime podcasts. Her hobbies and passions help her stay grounded — and they often inform the way she connects with patients.
Mentorship, Community, and Continued Engagement
Beyond her surgical practice, Dr. Brownlee is active in plastic surgery education and her local community. She mentors aspiring plastic surgeons and surgical residents — sharing the operating-room experience and clinical judgment that comes from years of specialty training — and she volunteers regularly with local animal shelters and rescues, a personal cause she’s been involved with for years. Dr. Brownlee also engages with a broader audience through her social media presence as @dr.bombshell on Instagram and TikTok, where she shares educational content on plastic surgery, recovery, and aesthetic decision-making. Her goal across all of these channels — clinical, educational, and community — is consistent: help people feel informed, supported, and confident in the decisions they make about their own bodies.

Get to Know Dr. Bombshell!
The Q&A below is a personal look at Dr. Brownlee’s approach to plastic surgery, her own aesthetic journey, and what makes her practice different. It’s also a quick reference for patients researching what to expect from a consultation with her.
What I find most fulfilling is seeing how patients feel about themselves after we’ve achieved the result they were hoping for. Whether we’re refining a single feature or addressing something they’ve felt self-conscious about for years, the moment a patient genuinely connects with their new look is what I think about long after the surgery is over. My favorite version of that moment is when a patient sends me a selfie weeks or months out — confident, comfortable, and clearly themselves.
When I’m not in the operating room, I love exploring new places and trying out different restaurants with my husband. We enjoy discovering hidden gems, whether it’s a cozy cafe or a unique dish we’ve never tried before. I’m also passionate about dancing—it’s something I’ve loved since I was young, and it’s a fun way to stay active and creative. In my downtime, you’ll often find me creating content for social media, volunteering at animal shelters, or diving into the latest true crime podcast. It’s all about balance and finding joy in the little things, and I love connecting with others who share similar interests!
What sets my practice apart is the time we actually spend with patients. Initial consultations are 90 minutes, not the typical 15 to 30, and that gives us the space to really understand someone’s goals and concerns before talking about specific procedures. As a double board-certified plastic surgeon — certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery — I’m able to bring both reconstructive precision and aesthetic artistry to every case, and we perform our surgeries at a Medicare-certified, Texas-licensed surgery center held to the same federal safety standards as a hospital outpatient department. Beyond credentials, the connection we build with patients matters most to me. Patients tell us they appreciate being heard, having every question answered without feeling rushed, and being walked through every detail of their plan. That’s the kind of practice I wanted to build when I founded Bombshelled Aesthetics, and it’s the kind of practice we work hard to maintain every day.
Yes, I’ve personally had aesthetic treatments, and I believe it’s a key part of how I understand my patients’ experiences. Going through these treatments myself has helped me appreciate both the excitement and the concerns that come with enhancing your appearance. It also helps me offer genuine empathy and insight into what you may be feeling. More than anything, going through these treatments has reinforced how much small details matter — implant size, filler placement, recovery support, all the things patients agonize over. When I’m planning a procedure, I’m thinking about it the way a patient does, not just the way a surgeon does. That’s the perspective I want every patient to feel when they sit across from me.
